Task
The assignment was to use concepts of cognition to explain how they'll apply to our college-decision making process.
Elaboration of my prototype of college had to be explain to show what my dream college was like. I wrote about wanting
to attend a degree-offering school with sports teams as well as a small student body.
Other concepts of cognition I elaborated on was reaction time through complexity, expectancy, stimulus-response compatibility, and speed-accuracy trade off.

Benefits
From this assignment I learned concepts of cognition to a better extent. Since I had to apply concepts such as schemas, scripts, and mental models, I was able to put a reasoning behind why people picked certain colleges when applying.
I have learned another saying for stereotype, which is schema. An example of a schema could be people not wanting to attend a community college due to the fact that other's say it's for those who can't get into a real college because of their grades.

Likes/Dislikes
If I had the choice of doing this assignment differently, I would have done it on not college, but my choice of going into the military. I think it would of been better since that is what I'm doing following graduation and prior to attending college. However, I wouldn't change the layout of my assignment as in the formatting of the text. In my opinion it made my assignment appealing.
